LAPS, a Canadian and Swedish artist living in Montreal, has been spinning for more than 12 years as a DJ in the world of electronic music. Beginning in high school in private parties, after-proms, small events (etc.), his love and passion for electronic music has evolved over the years to finally come to two genres that shape him: Techno and Progressive.
Having performed at many festivals such as Bal en Blanc, AIM, International des Montgolfières (etc.) and events at New City Gas, Newspeak, Bain Mathieu, and more, he has carved out a place for himself in the Montreal electronic music scene.
Until recently, he had a residency at the mythical afterhours Circus nightclub and on the international radio station Afterhours.FM. But with Circus closing because of Covid, he decided to put aside his residency at Afterhours.FM to concentrate on the production of his first song. His series “Cycles of Life Radio” mixes, which can be found on his Soundcloud, gives a good idea of the type of energy he wishes to bring into his performances.
